Drift Ghosts — Set of 2
Nearly six feet each, hollow and open at the bottom so the wind lifts and turns them on its own. Hang two and you are finished decorating.
Hang two. Stop decorating.
It works before dark, too.
In daylight it is a tall pale shape turning slowly off the porch. After dark, with the light string threaded inside, it glows from within. Same object, two completely different effects, nothing to do in between.
It is a windsock, not a sheet.
The body is a hollow tube, open at the bottom, so air fills it and it lifts and twists on its own. Nothing else in a Halloween display moves without a motor and an extension cord.
Your walls never get touched.
There is a loop at the top. Tie it to a porch rail, a beam, a shepherd hook, a stair rail. No nails, no adhesive strips pulling paint off in the spring, nothing to patch before an inspection.
Three steps. That's the whole job.
Find a high point
Porch beam, rail, or hook. It needs room to hang free.
Clip or tie it on
There is a clip at the top - snap it onto a branch or rail, or tie the loop.
Thread the lights
Drop the fairy string inside if you want it glowing after dark.
The details that matter.
70 inches long
Almost six feet. Roughly the height of a residential front door.
Open-bottom windsock
Catches air and moves on its own. No motor, no cord, no batteries for the motion.
LED strings included
Two fairy light strings you thread inside. 2 AA each, not included.
Clip and loop
A clip at the top snaps straight onto a branch or rail in seconds. No nails, no screws, no adhesive, nothing to repair afterwards.
Indoor or covered outdoor
Porch, stairwell, balcony, entryway. Anywhere with height and shelter.
Folds flat
Lightweight polyester. Goes in a drawer, not a bin on a garage shelf.
What it does — and what it doesn't.
Here's the truth up front, before you buy:
- ✓ They need height. At 70 inches they have to hang from something around seven feet up to swing free. A porch beam or a tree branch usually means a step stool.
- ✓ The lights are the weak part. They are a separate fairy string you thread in yourself, with no timer, running on 2 AA batteries each (not included). The battery packs are also the most common complaint we see - a couple of buyers had one arrive broken or come loose outdoors. Handle the pack gently and tuck it into the fabric pocket.
- ✓ They arrive wrinkled. The polyester is folded flat in the packaging and the creases do not fully drop out. Hanging them for a day or two helps, but if you want a crisp look, expect to steam them.
- ✓ Bring them in for a storm. Wind is the point - one buyer reports hers holding up through very high winds - but polyester and hard rain do not mix.

Real customer“Great ghost!”
Very nice looking, I have them on my front porch, just as pictured. Very well made — even through some very high winds, held up great.
“Great so far! Let's see how long they last…”
These wind-sock style ghosts are great daytime and night. Just enough LED fairy string lights to give perfect illumination to the ghosts and their tails. Powered by 2 AA batteries, so I will update on longevity per set of batteries.
“Looks good but lights are an issue”
I loved the look when I hung it up, but one day of hanging outside and the battery packs fell out and broke.
“Great decoration for a fabulous price!”
We used these windsocks for our entryway into our Halloween party and they were great! The quality for the price can't be beat. They even have lights that go inside and there is a pocket for the battery pack. I would definitely recommend these.
“Not very bright & very flimsy”
These come very wrinkled and the fabric does not unwrinkle easily. There is only one thin strand of lights which hardly lights up the ghosts. This was not expensive, but it shows.
“Great item — quite functional”
I purchased this for my daughter who has a mini farm with chickens and ducks. There has been an issue this year with hawks hovering. The ghost windsocks blowing in the wind keep the hawks away. They might be considered seasonal but she intends to keep them up year round. Great purchase and we are very happy.
“Battery pack broken”
Battery packs arrived broken. Ghosts are tall — great size to put on tree branches. The clip let me place them on a smaller branch, quick to put up, instead of having to wiggle a string across many branches. I appreciate that. Apart from the battery packs, the price is good for what arrived.
“Great for spooky season”
I love these for the satellite windows at my front door. They are great and exactly as shown. I haven't used the light strand that came with them because there isn't a timer and I have lights around the door for the season — so I can't vouch for the lights themselves.
“Fun wind ghosts!”
These ghosts are perfect for our front porch. The fairy lights are easy to turn on and off. They look awesome!
“Very cool!”
Very cool — the lights were an unexpected surprise!
“Halloween!!”
These were so fun for Halloween. Loved them.
“Product as described”
No complaints here. Looks as expected. I would buy again.
“Spooky alive”
Great action.
“Nice”
They're nice.

Everything you're wondering
How high do I need to hang them?
Do I need hooks or hardware?
Are the lights built in, and are they any good?
Will the wind wreck them?
Can they go indoors?
How fast will it arrive?
